The Highway 43 East Waste Commission owns and operates a regional landfill near the Hamlet of Gunn for use by County residents. We also work jointly with the Village of Alberta Beach, the Towns of Mayerthorpe and Onoway, and 12 Summer Villages on a regional cost-shared recycling program.

The Highway 43 East Waste Commission owns and operates the regional landfill in Gunn, which works in tandem with 8 waste transfer sites managed by Lac Ste. Anne County.
The Commission also works jointly with the Village of Alberta Beach, the Towns of Mayerthorpe and Onoway, and 12 Summer Villages in a regional cost-shared recycling program.
